Pick Your Clothes Up Off The Floor
If you can’t see you bedroom floor because it’s covered in clothes, then it’s time to conquer the clutter. Grab two large bins and use one of them for clean clothes and the other for dirty clothes. Sort through the piles and place the clothes in the appropriate basket. Take the dirty clothes basket to the laundry room, and take the clean clothes basket and properly hang the clothes up in your closet. It doesn’t matter how you get it done; just as long as you get the clothes off the floor and put them where they belong.
Throw Away Trash
Don’t be a hoarder! Grab an empty trash bag and throw away all of the trash in your room. This includes, old food plates and cups, old magazines, empty shoe boxes, and any other items that don’t serve a purpose. Once you’re done picking up trash, take the trash bag outside to the dumpster.
Strip Your Bed & Wash Your Bedsheets
If you can’t remember the last time that you changed the sheets on your bed, then now is the time to change them. Take your bedsheets and pillowcases off and throw them in the washing machine with a cup of baking soda. Then, add in a cup of vinegar during the rinse cycle. The baking soda and vinegar will work together to remove odors from your bed sheets and make them super soft! You can repeat these steps until the odors are gone, and then place your sheets in the dryer.
Clear Off & Wipe Down Flat Surfaces In Your Room
