Growing up, journaling was apart my day-to-day! I love bullet journals, this is awesome.

This is not my thing. There are so many digital prograns/apps. Why do it by hand? See Evernote. But if i was to consider doing manually, you have put together great ideas.

Evernote is AWESOME! Thanks!

You had fainting ideas, Ambriel!!!! You really do rock. (By the way, I just got a new bullet journal book this evening, so do you have any ideas to how to decorate the very first page??????)

Welcome to the bullet journal club, Neha! You are going to love fall in love with it! I just got a new bullet journal for next year so I plan on writing “2018” really big on the first page. I will probably try to draw a mandala or something artsy around it.

Neha December 17, 2017 - 12:15 am

Thanks for the tip.

Neha December 16, 2017 - 9:27 am

Correction: Fascinating ideas, not fainting ideas, sorry I made a mistake.

This is awesome! So many ideas and each unique. Any suggestions for a great brand of large books for bullet journaling? I like to have a lot of space when I journal. Thanks!

Amazon has a lot of large bullet journals! Search for the brand “PAIPUR” on Amazon.

I’m new to this but i LOVE the idea as i always have loads of lists and i never seem to get it all together and organised!
This is probably a very stupid question… but do you BUY/download templates or is it actually all drawn up by hand (it looks handmade). If it’s handmade, do you make it as you go along, because i really don’t have time to do it in one sitting. I guess it’s also a hood idea to get it started before a new year starts!

I typically draw everything by hand in my bullet journal, but I also use bullet journal stencils to help me draw really cute shapes and symbols. Also, there are tons of free bullet journal printables on Pinterest that you can glue into your journal!

Thank you for all the best ideas. I now know where to begin at. I was a bit worried getting started with this new project of mine, but am feeling alot better.

That’s awesome!

Great things you shared. I just want to address the comment about why do this old school – meaning paper and pen. For me it is the same reason I prefer holding and reading a book made from paper. I have such a closer connection. I enjoy the texture of paper and the beauty from all the colors from the ink we can enliven our pages with. For me, there is a deeper commitment when I hand write my goals and plans. But, as a matter of convenience, I do use the handy devices and apps. To sum it up, if I want to increase the likelihood I will remember a date or goal, I prefer the time and true method of putting hand to pen to paper. The bonus is many others must feel somewhat the same, as journaling has enjoyed an explosion of interest and sharing of ideas.

Thank you so much for sharing this, Cindy!
